Lokesh Y -
It was an amazing experience for me. I learnt basics of shooting and safe handling of weapons. Initially it was difficult to aim at the target but after 2-3 days i was able to aim at the target in sitting position and i started enjoying the new developments. Learned importance of breathing, triggering and aiming in first shot in sitting position. In level 2, which is called " Reload " I inducted to shoot with Rifle and Pistol both, initially in sitting position only and later in standing position as well. It was difficult to hold the Rifle but I was comfortable with Pistol and enjoyed thoroughly. Learned how to balance and stable the body in standing position, maintaining the body posture, how to focus on target, breathing control etc. Would like to thank our coach and management for giving me such an amazing experience. I look forward to learn more.
Deepti - Being a player (Nationals in Kayaking) sports are there in my genes. I wanted to learn shooting so Joined GFG, I consider myself lucky because GFG Shooting Academy is close to my house. I was thrilled and excited to learn a new sport, it is very fascinating to hold guns and arms. So with similar excitement i stared my Level 1 programme. Learned to hold Rifle, Aim, Breathing and Shooting. It took some days to understand what shooting is all about?? but on last day of Level 1 I played a match and able to shoot at least in black zone :) In Level 2 after consulting with Coach i took up Pistol and it was entirely new experience for me. Pistol is quite unstable as compared to Rifle but i was just following the instructions of our coach. Finally today on 11/9/2016 I played a match and completing my Level 2 in pistol shooting. I am happy and glad that i have chosen to learn Shooting. I have long way to go, just aiming to be a good shooter with the help of Gun For Glory coaching and management team. Thank you so much.
